The Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District was made aware of loud noises in the wooded area behind the Middle School this morning, 3/2/23, at approximately 7:25 a.m. The noises were reported to a building administrator who reported it to the Monroe County Sheriff Department.
Facilities Department staff searched the area and found no cause for concern. An officer arrived at the Middle School at approximately 8:00 a.m., searched the grounds and also found no cause for concern. No other reports of loud noises coming from outside have been reported.
In an abundance of caution Cougar Care students were kept inside this morning. The District’s number one priority is the safety of our students and staff and appreciates the diligence of all those involved to ensure that our campus is safe for all.
