On Tuesday, 11/23, the a cappella group "Ithacapella" from Ithaca College will be visiting HFL on their Thanksgiving tour. They will be giving a performance workshop 1st set, performing a concert 3rd set, and giving a musical arranging workshop 4th set with HF-L music students. All events will take place in the HS Auditorium. Any students who would like to participate are welcome, with teacher approval. I have copied a list of music students below for your reference.
1st - (Treble Choir Set) Performance Workshop with Treble Choir and any Mixed Chorus students interested in joining us. (HS Auditorium )
3rd - CONCERT in the HS Auditorium (Mixed Chorus Set). If you would like to bring your whole class down, you are welcome to until we reach capacity for the Auditorium.
4th - Arranging Workshop (Music Theory Set) Ithacapella arrangers will discuss the process of taking a pop song from the radio and transforming it into an Ithacapella arrangement for live performance. This will likely be more technical, but no less entertaining and informative. (HS Auditorium )
The group will then travel to our Middle School for a performance at 1pm.
